Week 007 – Day 036

It is obvious to me now that my youthful ability to lose weight fast is gone. I am working extremely hard with m,y walking and swimming and activity each day, and I managed to squeak out 5.4 lbs for the week. I believe my body is in fasting mode…. and has begun storing what I eat instead of burning it all. This may be why I am exhausted all day. That stated, continuing the program and rigorous activity each day will eventually break that cycle, and the weight loss flood gates may be opened again. After all… I have now lost 61 pounds in 5 five weeks!!
My friend Daniel has been joining me now for a consistent week. His being with me actually pushes me to go farther, and endure more than I would have on my own. He has lost about 5 pounds this week and continues his activity at the Gym after he leaves me. Daniel, like me just weeks ago, could barely move and was in constant pain. Now he tells me today that he feels great, and feels like a man again. It is true that when we had become somewhat helpless through what we had done to ourselves, and we had lost confidence in even being human. I know now that feeling is an illusion that is meant to keep us down. With that stated, and not to go biblical, but it is true…. the Adversary works in obvious ways to make us believe we are worthless. We must fight that illusion! As we look to the Light, giving ourselves unto the Father, we find Redemption is real, and the debt paid. All we need do is try, serve others, and endure in all things and we find happiness and the ability to do anything we think of. BELIEVE and YOU WILL SEE!!

8PM – Chocolate Shake
